This extremely cold winter weather however is a wonderful boon for Valentine's this year – if you are a cuddle-up-under-the-blanket kind of person.

As a family I have seen our love grow stronger and deeper each year. But with the pressures of day to day living, sometimes we tend to forget the special relationships we have been blessed with in our lives.

Or at least, we don't mention it out loud and let our near and dear ones know how much we appreciate and love them. That is why Valentine's Day holds such a special meaning for us. It's a day when we are forced to acknowledge our feelings.

Of course the mass commercialization of the event tends to dampen even the most romantic spirits. You know what the best part of such an emotion packed special day is?

You don't have to buy a truckload of gifts to show your love! We have decided to start a fun Family Tradition from this Valentine's Day forward.

We will create the FAMILY LOVE TREE!

Each of us will write ONE special trait that we love about each other and stick it on our Family Tree. Each year we will save the Family Trees and watch the fruits (namely the love messages) grow with time.

We are all so excited about this new tradition. We hope it will continue to inspire and encourage us through the rough times that are an inevitable part of Life.
